The Ascension Movement is a business-based social movement that will create and perfect the business, educational and political infrastructure that is long overdue

in Urban America, as well as improve and re-define existing systems already in place.

It Is not a movement that will be known for its orator skills, but rather one that will be recognized as a pioneer in urban solutions, and  as an innovative and relevant force in urban communities as well. As the name implies, to ascend is to rise up. For the duration of four hundred years, Black America has occupied the very rock bottom of every societal metric

in a country whose governments and leaders have erased its many accomplishments and contributions from the history books, while simultaneously denying equal rights and opportunity on a regular basis.

It is time for all of that to change. The absolute ultimate goals of the Ascension Movement is to build new school systems, create business and entrepreneurial infrastructures within urban markets all across America, and to level the legislative and political playing fields. These efforts will involve Black and Latino Americans, as we seem to make up the vast majority of inner-city residents, and as such, are victim to the same injustices and shortcomings.
